biography


Paul Moncus is a visual artist living and working in Austin, Texas. His work focuses primarily on the “human condition” and spans such subjects as portraiture, the lived in landscape, and everyday life, with occasional adventures into conceptual art, expressionism, and abstraction. Moncus received his BFA in studio art at Texas State University in 1999 where he studied drawing and painting. When he isn’t making visual art he can be found reading, creating music, or photographing and working on motorcycles and automobiles.
